SOUTHERN OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
3 1/2 c. oatmeal (quick-cooking)
1 1/2 c. raisins

Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugar until light. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to batter along with milk. Stir in oatmeal and raisins. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 minutes.
