GOURMET DEVILED CRAB | |
1 lb. fresh crabmeat (approx. 3 c.) 4 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. onion juice 2 tbsp. chopped onion 2 tbsp. chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. bread crumbs mixed into 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. whipping cream 2 tsp. catsup 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. curry powder Mix crabmeat, lemon and onion juice. Saute the onion and pepper in butter and add remaining ingredients. Mix with the crab. Pack crab shells full; sprinkle with mixture of half bread crumbs and half Parmesan cheese and bake at 350 degrees until brown (small casserole may be used in place of crab backs). Serves 8. |
