SNOWBALL CAKE | |
2 env. unflavored gelatin 4 tsp. cold water 1 c. boiling water Juice of 1 lemon 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 c. sugar 1 lg. angel food cake 3 (2 oz.) pkgs. whipped topping mix 1 c. coconut Soften gelatin in cold water, add boiling water and stir until gelatin has dissolved. Cool. Add lemon juice, pineapple and sugar. Chill until mixture begins to set. Fold in 2 packages whipped topping (mixed as directions on package says to.) Arrange angel food cake into broken pieces into topping mixture and stir well. Spoon mixture into a large mixing bowl lined with waxed paper. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Unmold and frost with the remaining package of whipped topping. Prepare mix according to package directions. Sprinkle with coconut. |
