GINGERBREAD FARM COOKIES 
4 c. flour
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
2 tbsp. vinegar

In mixing bowl stir together flour, ginger, soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt. In another bowl beat shortening on medium with mixer for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar, beat until fluffy. Add eggs, molasses and vinegar; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture and beat until well blended. Cover, chill 3 hours.

On lightly floured pastry sheet cut out shapes using cookie cutters. Place on cookie sheet (greased). Bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes. Cool 1 minute and place on wire rack to cool more.
