RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Makes 4 dozen.

Mix together well the butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and vanilla. Sift together and stir in flour and salt. Mix in chopped nuts. Chill dough. Roll into 1/2" balls. Bake on ungreased pan for 10 to 12 minutes. Roll twice in powdered sugar.
