FLORIDA STUFFED SHELLS | |
1 lg. box jumbo macaroni shells 2 lbs. Ricotta cheese 2 lbs. Mozzarella cheese 2 eggs 2 tbsp. parsley 1 jar Prego spaghetti sauce Boil jumbo shells 3/4 of the way (not completely done). Drain and chill. In a large bowl, mix cheeses, eggs and parsley. In a 9x13 pan, spread a layer of spaghetti sauce just to cover the bottom of pan. Stuff mixture from bowl into each shell and place in pan. Cover the shells with 2/3 of the remaining spaghetti sauce. Bake at 400 to 450 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving. May substitute 2 lbs. of ground chuck hamburger instead of Ricotta cheese. |
