FRENCH CREAM CAKE 
2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
2 eggs
1 c. whipping cream (beat stiff)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained

Spread 1 cup wafers over bottom of 8" square pan. Cream sugar and butter; add eggs; beat until fluffy. Spread over crumbs. Fold cream, pineapple and nuts together and spread over sugar mixture. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Let set in refrigerator overnight. Serves 9.
