1 pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
1 jar Kraft chocolate or caramel topping
Chopped peanuts; optional
1 carton Cool Whip

Crush the package of Oreos reserve some to sprinkle on the top. Put the rest in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Spread the softened ice cream over the cookie crumbs and spread the topping your choice either chocolate or caramel over that. Chopped peanuts may then be sprinkled over top. Spread carton of Cool Whip over and finish with the reserved cookie crumbs. Freeze until firm. Serve.
