ROMAN HOLIDAY BAKE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. hot Italian sausage 1 c. chopped onion 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. oregano 1 can cheddar cheese soup 1 can tomato soup 1 c. water 4 c. cooked wide noodles 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese Cook ground beef and onion with oregano until done. Pour off grease. Add soups, salt and pepper and water. Chill overnight. Cook noodles; rinse and chill overnight. Pour meat mixture in 2-quart shallow casserole. Stir in noodles. Cover and place in cold oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Stir and top with cheese. Put back in oven until cheese melts. Serves 10. Freezes well. |
