QUICK AND EASY CHERRY DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
1 can (21 oz.) prepared cherry pie filling
1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 pkg. (9 oz.) yellow cake mix (1 layer size)
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Microwave butter in a 1 cup glass measuring cup for 1 minute or until melted. Set aside.

Mix together cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple in a 9 inch round pan. (Could use an 8 x 12 inch) pan. Sprinkle with cake mix. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Drizzle with melted butter over the top. Microwave 15-17 minutes or until all of dessert is bubbling.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
