3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. ground pork
3/4 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. milk
1 can chopped water chestnuts
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. onion salt
2 tbsp. butter

Combine all ingredients except butter. Mix well and shape into small balls. Brown in butter. Simmer in sauce for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. water

Combine all except cornstarch and water and cook 5 minutes stirring constantly. Mix cornstarch and water and add to liquid mixture and cook until thick.
