SWEET - SOUR MEATBALLS
(Microwave)
 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/3 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. whipping cream or half & half
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Mix all of the above together. Make small balls. Put in glass baking dish and cover with waxed paper. Microwave on high 7 to 8 minutes, turn over after 3 to 4 minutes. Drain off all fat. 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1/3 c. vinegar 1 can water chestnuts, sliced 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. green pepper, coarsely chopped

Mix cornstarch and sugar in saucepan on stove. Stir in pineapple with juice, soy sauce and vinegar. Stir constantly until mixture thickens. Add other ingredients. Pour over meatballs and microwave a few minutes to heat. Serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
