STUFFED PEPPERS 
12 med. peppers, wash & dry thoroughly before opening top & cleaning out
3 cans tuna solid white in water, drained
1 sm. can chopped black olives, drained
5-6 parsley leaves, finely chopped
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 sm. loaf (stale) Italian bread

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put bread in water then squeeze out water thoroughly. In a bowl put squeezed bread, black olives, parsley, soy sauce, black pepper and garlic powder; mix thoroughly. Then add tuna to mixture and mix well.

Then stuff the peppers with mixture. Do not over stuff. Take a 9 x 12 inch pan or glass dish and spread oil on bottom. Put the stuffed peppers in on their sides. Put a little oil over each of the peppers, then put in oven. Must keep turning peppers until they have softened and a little roasted, approximately 1 hour. Then on paper toweling put peppers to soak up any additional oil, after they have cooled for approximately 1/2 hour.
