1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. cornmeal mix
1/4 c. Crisco oil
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. Crisco oil

Mix flour, meal, oil, and milk. Heat remaining oil in heavy pan until oil is hot. Add bread mixture and cook until almost set. Turn with pancake turner and brown on opposite side.
