SHRIMP CREOLE | |
3 sm. cans tomato paste 2 cans Ro-tel tomatoes 6 sm. cans creole sauce 6 sm. cans Hunts special tomato sauce 3 lg. onions 3 lg. cloves garlic 6-8 bell peppers Parsley to taste Salt & pepper to taste 3 lbs. cleaned shrimp 3 bunches green onions 1 qt. water 1 stalk celery 1 lg. container Mix tomato paste, Ro-tel tomatoes, creole sauce and tomato sauce, bring to a boil, simmer. Clean and chop all ingredients; set aside 1 cup green onions. Saute onions, garlic, bell peppers, celery. Saute shrimp until pinkish color. Combine all ingredients, bring to a boil, lower heat, boil at least 1 hour. When cooked put green onions on top and parsley on top. Do not stir until ready to serve. |
