CINNAMON TEA CAKE 
1 3/4 c. cake flour (resift)
1 c. sugar

ADD:

1/2 c. soft butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat these ingredients vigorously with whisk or electric beater for 2 or 3 minutes. Bake in 2 well greased 8 1/2 inch layer pans in moderate oven (375 degrees). Cool. Sprinkle with powder sugar or spread with butter icing. Cut in squares to serve.
