SKY - HIGH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. white syrup
1 c. water
1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 to 2 qts. strawberries (whole or cut in half)
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
Whipped cream or topping

Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, syrup and water. Cook over low heat until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Add Jello and mix well. Cool to room temperature. Arrange strawberries on pie shell. Pour on glaze. Chill until set, about 6 hours. Serve with whipped cream or topping.
