BANANAS ROYALE - FRANCE 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
4-6 bananas
2 qt. ice cream

In heavy skillet melt butter and brown sugar; cook over low heat until it bubbles. Peel and quarter bananas. Add to skillet and cook slowly until soft. Dip hot sauce over ice cream in dishes. 8 servings.
