CHERRY SHEET DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
2 cans cherry pie filling

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour and nuts. Spread 3/4 of the batter in a 9"x13" pan. Cover with pie filling. Cover in spots with the rest of the batter. Spread with spoon or knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Sprinkle top with confectioners' sugar. Cool and cut into squares.
