OVEN BARBECUED CHICKEN | |
1-2 (about 3 lbs. each) skinned chickens, cut up 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Season chicken with pepper. Combine all other ingredients. Place chicken in shallow pan. Cover with 1/3 of sauce. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Turn and add more sauce. Bake for 1 hour more and add remaining sauce. Watch carefully; if sauce browns too much, add a little water. Reduce heat to hold until chicken is done. |
