FRIED CHICKEN 
1 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
1 tbsp. ginger root, grated
4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. sake or wine
Cornstarch

Mix soy sauce, sake, and ginger. Marinate chicken in the mixture for 15-30 minutes. Dip the pieces in cornstarch. Fry in deep fat in a pan or in a deep fryer at 350 degrees.
