RED DELICIOUS MEATBALLS 
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. seasoned croutons
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 pkg. onion soup mix
2 (14 oz.) bottles extra spicy ketchup
1 (10 oz.) jar apple jelly
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Combine ground beef, croutons, egg, butter, and onion soup mix, mixing well. Shape into 1 1/4 inch meatballs. Cook half the meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat 5 to 10 minutes or until browned. Repeat with the remaining meatballs. Drain meatballs on paper towels. Pour off the pan drippings.

Combine remaining ingredients in skillet, mixing well. Simmer 10 minutes. Place meatballs in a 14 x 12 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield: About 6 dozen.
