GRITS CASSEROLE 
3 c. water
1 c. grits
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 c. milk
4 well beaten eggs
3/4 - 1 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese

Cook until thick 1 cup grits in 3 cups boiling water. Add salt. Put hot grits in bowl and add butter or butter. Mix milk and well beaten eggs in separate bowl. Put small amount of hot grits in milk mixture and then add to hot grits. Add grated cheddar cheese. Mix well. It will be a thin mixture. Pour into greased casserole and top with grated cheese and paprika. Bake in 325 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
