1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cold water

Sift dry ingredients into ungreased 8 x 8 inch pan. Make 3 depressions with spoon. Into one put the salad oil, into the second pour the vinegar and into the third the vanilla. Pour the cold water over all. Mix with a fork. Bake 30 minutes or until done in a 350 degree oven.
