“OLD-FASHIONED BOILED FUDGE” IS IN:

OLD-FASHIONED BOILED FUDGE 
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 (1 oz. ea.) sq. baking chocolate
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Combine sugars, salt, flour, chocolate and milk in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage (234-240°F on candy thermometer).

Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes.

Add butter, vanilla and nuts; beat until thickened. Pour onto a buttered plate: cool.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.
