QUICK TACO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
1 (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 bag tortilla chips

Brown beef with onions, salt, pepper and taco seasoning. Crush 2/3 of the chips on the bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Add beef mixture and half of the cheese (4 ounces). Spread sour cream on top of cheese. Layer remaining cheese on top. Finish the layers with remaining chips.

Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes. Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes, if desired. Serve with additional sour cream and taco sauce, if desired.
