Bake Duncan Hines chocolate cake in 14 x 18 inch pan in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. 2ND LAYER: 1 c. milk 3 tbsp. cornstarch Cook until thick. Cream: 1/2 c. Crisco 1 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Beat all together, add starch mixture and continue beating. Beat until smooth and spread on top of cooled cake. Refrigerate until icing is set. 3RD LAYER: 1 stick butter, melted 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 3 pkgs. (Nestles) choco bake pre-melted chocolate 2 1/2 tbsp. hot water 3 c. powdered sugar Spread on top of cream layer, set in refrigerator. |
