GINGER SNAP COOKIES | |
3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 4 tbsp. molasses 1 egg 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2-1 tsp. ginger 1/2-1 tsp. cloves Cream sugar and shortening. Add molasses and beaten eggs. Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Roll into small balls. Dip or roll in granulated sugar. Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees). Store in an air-tight container. |
