TEXAS HASH 
1 lg. chopped onion
3 tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper
2 c. tomatoes OR
3 c. tomato juice
1/2 c. uncooked rice or uncooked noodles

Saute onion in fat; add ground beef and brown. Stir in tomatoes; add rice or noodles and seasonings. Put in 2-quart baking dish. Cook about 1 hour at 350 degrees.
