PASTA WITH CLAM SAUCE 
1 (10 oz.) can minced clams, with liquid
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. olive oil
Pepper and thyme to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1/2 to 1 lb. Fettuccine, spaghetti or other pasta

In a heavy saucepan, saute garlic in oil for 1 minute - don't let garlic brown. Add clams with liquid, pepper and thyme. Serve sauce over pasta, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serves 4.
