PASTA WITH CLAM SAUCE | |
1/4 c. (or more) olive oil 3 med. cloves garlic, minced 1/4 lb. butter 1 can minced clams 1/4 c. snipped parsley 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. dried basil 2 sm. cans tomato sauce 1 lb. spaghetti (or other pasta), cooked Heat oil in medium-sized saucepan. Add garlic. Heat until light-brownish in color. Lower heat. Add butter. Heat until melted. Add clams, parsley, oregano, basil and tomato sauce. Let simmer for about 30 minutes. Serve over pasta. Serves 4 to 6. |
