PEPPERONI PINWHEELS 
1 c. (3 1/2 oz.) pepperoni, finely chopped
1 c. shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Blend first 4 ingredients. Separate rolls into 8 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spread 1/4 cup pepperoni mixture on each rectangle. Starting on shorter side, roll up and seal. Cut each into 2 pieces and place, seam side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm. (Make ahead, cover, and refrigerate up to 2 hours.)
