CABBAGE AND CARROTS 
1 med. cabbage, shredded
1 med. onion, chopped
2-3 carrots, sliced diagonally
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. water

In large pot, saute onions in butter until onion is tender. Add water and bring to a boil. Add cabbage, cook for 45 minutes. Add carrots, cook until carrots are tender. Season to taste. Great with beef and cornbread.
