SAUERBRATEN 
3-5 lb. rump of beef

Marinate 4-5 days in crock pot in refrigerator.

1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. oil
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. dill
1 whole onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
Salt and pepper

Turn daily, after 4 or 5 days, put in crock pot. Pour away half of marinade. Add gravy mix, cook 4 hours on high, turn to low and cook 6-8 hours. Serve with red cabbage and potato pancakes.
