FRENCH ONION CORN CAKES 
1/2 c. French onion dip (sour cream base)
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. self-rising cornmeal mix

Combine dip, water, and oil. Mix well. Add cornmeal and mix. Heat a griddle or electric skillet that has been coated with cooking spray. Drop batter from tablespoon onto hot griddle or skillet. Cook until lightly browned on bottom and then turn over and brown other side. Remove from pan and serve warm with butter.
