LEMON PECAN REFRIGERATOR COOKIES 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. lemon peel
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg and lemon, beat well. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well. Stir in chopped pecans.

Shape into rolls, wrap in waxed paper or plastic-wrap and chill.

Slice very thin. Bake in 350°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
