BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hot sausage 1/2 stick butter 6 pieces loaf bread (without crust) 5 eggs 2 c. half & half milk 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese Brown sausage (break into small pieces and drain well). Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Tear bread into small pieces over butter. Spread sausage over bread then spread cheese over sausage. Mix eggs, milk and salt. Pour mixture over dish. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Bake 40-50 minutes at 350 degrees. |
