KOLACKY (POLISH COOKIES) | |
1/2 lb. butter 2 pkg. Philly cream cheese 2 c. all-purpose flour 4 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder solo-filling (poppy seed, cream cheese or any jelly) 1/2 c. powdered sugar Cream butter and cream cheese. Mix and add sifted dry ingredients and work into butter and cream cheese. Roll dough on floured board to 1/4-inch thick and use round cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make small indentation with thumb in middle of cookie and put 1/2 teaspoon of filling of your choice. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Let cool. |
