SUGAR FREE STEWED APPLES - PIE 
3 lb. cooking apples
1 tbsp. water
1/4 c. honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter

TOPPING:

1 frozen pie shell, cooked according to directions
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 tsp. molasses
1 tsp. vanilla

Core, pare and cut apples into 1/8. Place in saucepan with water over medium heat. Sprinkle with honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add butter and cook covered about 15-20 minutes until tender but not mushy.

For Pie: Cool in refrigerator and then place apples in cooked and cooled pie shell. Whip cream and add vanilla and molasses after cream is stiff. Put whipping cream on top and keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
