POLISH STEW (MY FAVORITE)
2 pkgs. kielbasa, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, diced
1 bell pepper, cut-up
4 potatoes, cut-up and slightly par boiled
2 to 3 carrots cut-up and slightly par boiled
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (Hunts)
1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper, to taste
hot sauce, to taste
2 cups water (about)

Lightly brown kielbasa pieces. Drain if needed.

Add onion and bell pepper; sauté until tender. Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and hot sauce. Add water. Mix well and add potatoes and carrots.

Simmer covered for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.

Note: If sauce seems too thin, simmer uncovered additional ten minutes.
