DATE PUDDING 
1 c. bread crumbs
3 eggs, separated
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped dates
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. walnuts or pecans

Mix the bread crumbs with the chopped dates. Add eggs which have been beaten separately. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly. Fold in beaten egg whites and then put in well greased 8"x8" pan or glass dish. Bake in a cool oven for about 25 minutes. Good served with whipped cream.
