DATE PUDDING 
2 tbsp. butter (heaping)
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. pecans

Mix well.

SYRUP:

1 box brown sugar
3 c. water
3/4 stick butter

Heat until butter melts.

Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan and drop pudding mix into syrup mixture by spoonfuls. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Serve with fresh whipped cream.
