4 1/2 c. flour 3 sticks butter 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. warm water 1 pkg. yeast Mix flour and butter into crumbs, like pie crust. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add eggs. Add to crust mixture. Divide this dough into 4 parts. Roll into rectangular shapes. Put each on a cookie sheet. Fold edges over about 1 inch. FILLING: Spread any fresh or canned pie filling over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Drizzle with powdered sugar icing. |
