BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 c. dark brown sugar
2/3 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. whipping cream

Boil the butter, sugar and corn syrup very gently for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let cool. Stir in cream and mix until smooth and silky. Store in refrigerator.
