BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. heavy cream

Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved. Gradually add cream. Stir constantly and bring to boiling point again. Cool. Yield: 1 1/2 cups.
