QUICK CHEESE BREAD 
3 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 eggs, slightly beaten
10 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
5 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. milk

Combine dry ingredients. Cut butter into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese. Combine milk and eggs; add to cheese mixture, mixing until just moistened. Spoon into greased 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan immediately.
