QUICK CHEESE BREAD 
3 3/4 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter (no substitutions)
2 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar (10 oz.)
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Combine dry ingredients. Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs; stir in cheese. Combine milk and eggs; add to cheese mixture mixing UNTIL JUST MOISTENED. Spoon into greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan immediately.
