CHEESE QUICK BREAD | |
2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese 1/4 c. butter 1 c. milk 2 eggs Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. In large mixing bowl with fork mix flour, baking powder, 2 teaspoons dry mustard, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 cup cheese. In small saucepan over medium heat melt butter, stir in milk, then eggs, beat mixture until well blended. Add to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Pour into pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove and cool completely. |
