1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. honey
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips

Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
