RASPBERRY DREAM BARS 
1 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
2/3 c. raspberry or apricot jam

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
2 eggs
1 tsp. sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In large mixer bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Sift in flour and mix. Pat in 9 x 13 pan. Spread jam evenly over top. (More jam can be used than 2/3 cup.) In small bowl combine topping ingredients, carefully spread over jam. Bake 25 minutes. Cool, cut into 1 x 2 bars.
